Hey @Phoenixfla While most of the day yesterday, Ford's order status page showed my build date of 11/22 and the proper ship eta end date, it didn't show up in the json pull from ...//shop.ford.com/aemservices/shop/vot/api/customerorder/?... until 9:40 PM eastern last night. I know you had it in the spreadsheet somewhere in between, so I wasn't sure if you were getting it from a different server, somewhere manually, or other insights. But either way, I found the timing delays interesting. With the spray in bedliner and other accessories perhaps (hood deflector and mud flaps) I'm guessing mine might get out to shipping later today. Either way, one more moving through!
I am fairly confident that they have several servers with the customer data which are not always in sync. That is the only explanation I can come up with after thing about it a lot.
I do not know enough about tracing which server is which, but it would be interesting if someone could track the IP of the various servers. Your graphic a few weeks ago showing the status change back and forth several times before then reporting the later production stage seems to support that theory.
Seems like the 11/16 trucks with no additional data after build date, are not going to get the release and ship dates listed. No emails from Ford, just a delivery window. At this point I have to assume it is on its way. Palsapp shows a shipping invoice # and vin. Hopefully the truck will show in the window ending 12/5.

Yeah, it wasn't as pronounced last night, but did flip once on my data pulls back to N/A. Probably behind something like CloudFlare or other content distribution network service. But at least it was over a relatively short period of time both times.
Do you ever see updates during or throughout the day, or does a single daily run seem to be the norm?

I tend to agree that there are different servers. I have also noticed that the window sticker pulled from Mach-E is different than the window sticker pulled from the Ford vehicle order tracking site. This could just be cached data but I have cleared cache and still getting different WS.

A nslookup of the site names seg.fyi and shop.ford.com give 2 different IP subnets. Performing a IP WhoIS search shows that each of these IPs are hosted from different hosting services. One being Amazon and the other being Akamai. If they were both run by ford, then it wouldn't make much sense to have 2 separate contracts for hosting services. I suspect that 1 or the other is simply "copying" the data from the other. When this sync happens is unknown.
the seg.fyi ownership is a bit questionable as a whois lookup has all the owner information redacted. Where as looking up the ownership of the ford.com domain gives fords address in Dearborn Michigan. Which makes sense.
In a nutshell, these are 2 completely separate entities and operate independently of each other. Which is more up to date, I can't say. This also doesn't take into account that within ford itself there would be different systems which would need to be syncrhonized.

Yes, pretty much every update brings new info. First update of the day typically adds shipped trucks and delivered trucks from prior day and then updates throughout the day add newly built trucks from prior day and trucks which go into production.

Cool. I think the seg.fyi site ... based on the network trace (hit F12 in browser then hit submit) you will see just queries the ford site for the raw json, then pulls out the relevant data for you and formats it a little better:
Has anyone had a big delay while the truck is already in transit? My truck went from 4 days delivery time to now nearly 30 days.
Ya my truck shipped 10/13. It was scheduled to arrive 10/19-10/25. Then they pushed it back to 11/19-11/25. Yesterday they pushed it back to 11/29. It came down to New Orleans,LA by train and arrived there 11/16. Thats less than an hour from me and the dealership. Its just been sitting there ever since.

Dang! Thats very frustrating!

seg.fyi pulls their data from the same API as all the other non Ford trackers. They don't maintain a database.
I corresponded with the owner when I originally set up the spreadsheet and he gave me some pointers.
My dealer called today. They told me ETA for delivery is 12/27. Dealer says its been built already. But I still can't get window sticker or production updates. Ordered 5/16 last build date 11/15. Not sure what to believe. The truck was supposed to be built back in July.
I hate this waiting game and the "lack of" knowledge that people have on what the holdup is. I would assume since it has already shipped that its not waiting on parts or anything like that. Ive been without a vehicle for 3 months. It is literally 50 minutes away from here sitting in a lot with some other vehicles that came off the train. I hate to say it but if they push my date back again Im probably going to just go buy another truck off of a lot somewhere. Not what I want to do but I cant keep going without a vehicle and hoping that its going to show up without anybody knowing an answer. $90k truck and nobody has any answers.
