When will the online trackers and Ford email show something other than in production?
The spreadsheet also only shows sent to plant date.
How many days does it take for this info to be available?

I'm curious... and just to clarify, does the Mach-E tracker say the same thing regarding your order. Meaning, are the production, shipment, and other dates still blank on there as well?

That's the raw data from the ford website, just presented in a bit "purty-er" format. So if that is blank, then the Ford order servers are the problem. More specifically... this one: https://shop.ford.com/aemservices/sh...customerorder/

I see. Thanks. In that case, it just looks like lack of data on Ford's side.

This is where I think as the world turns more to this model of direct customer ordering and not going through the dealer middle man, we should see major improvements in this experience.

What has been the average amount of time for build info to populate in the trackers?

I can't tell when a field got populated on the spreadsheet... but on my particular order, since I'm tracking it with a script periodically, I expect to gather that info. It doesn't seem like a "lag" necessarily as some weeks it looked like data flowed regularly and others it didn't. Almost like it is a manual process over at Ford to update it and "that guy" is on vacation.

This seems to be the case. Last I heard, I was scheduled for the week of 11/15, but no emails since. Talked with the dealership just now and he showed me the sheet and it shows my scheduled week as 12/13, a whole month of bump at once it seems.
I bet there are a lot of people on the spreadsheet that haven't updated build week because they aren't getting any communication from Ford.

Well finally got a build date yesterday. Ordered Aug 1st. Lariat Tremor with the 7.3 . They're saying the week of Jan 17. The sales guy removed my fifth wheel prep and 7 days later it was scheduled. So maybe that was holding it up. I told him that was all I was willing to give up, not the Tremor package.

The spreadsheet is showing updates before Mach E and Ford tracker.

Why are there a number of trucks " in production" with no "sent to plant date"?"

11/15 @ 6:51PM Eastern - My truck went to "In Production" status.
11/16 - some time early morning - Window Sticker was available.
But until Ford's servers update, the spreadsheet, Mach-E, or nothing else can find that "sent to plant" date. So you are sort of blind...

EXCEPT your Window Sticker if you've got one. (Go to Mach-E or Ford's order status to get your window sticker.)

The window sticker shows the "Sent to Plant" date here. It is just not a usable data point for integration into other systems.

... from history, it looks like most recent weeks has been a 2 week turnaround from Sent To Production to "Production Date". All things being the same, I might expect my truck with a 11/15 date on my window sticker to get built on about 11/29 or a few days after. As of today, I still cannot add my VIN to my FordPass app, but I'm going to watch that as well and maybe that might be some other indicator. Clearly we can't rely on Ford's order status servers.

I've got an automation script watching for the updated STP date on my particular order. I'll be very interested to see if ALL those backlogged ones that show "In Production" with no dates fill in at the same time, indicating a system issue, not a production issue.

I was able to get someone on the BO forum to check the VVR for me below is his reply,"In Transit - Received - LSE40761 (Norfolk Southern Corp ) Ramp 8P, Shelbyville Mc, KY Oct-21-2021, 09:04 ET.

No updates since - it has been sitting for a while with no new information unfortunately."

Is it common for a truck to sit for a month waiting to be put on a train? Is there anyone I can call and ask about it? my dealer won't go out of their way to ask unfortunately.

i really really really thank you for all you have done for me and making this journey so bright and knowing. 👍

pictures to come. Picking up Saturday or Monday. 🙂

i sold my 2019 CR-V to Carvana today. Scary to me but it did go very smooth. Just info for anybody thinking about using them to sell a vehicle quick and for a fair price. I’m happy with my deal there.

cheers 🍻

We just bought a car from Vroom and took delivery yesterday. Only took about 10 days for delivery, I was expecting 3 weeks. I was extremely apprehensive about buying sight unseen, but it has 14k miles. Everything went relatively smoothly to my surprise.

Now if Ford could just deliver the wife's Mach E, which has been sitting in MO for the last 12 days.
