We are getting close to the 2020 orders opening up. I wonder when Ford is going to release the 7.3 Gaser specs.
Considering the 2020 expedition order bank opened yesterday and as of yesterday no order guide I would suspect they won’t offer numbers till the order bank opens.

I have no clue about gasser numbers, just a shot in the dark for giggles.
600/850 and I think I will be interested
Maybe if there is a screw charger on top pushing 40 lbs of boost.
Considering my wife’s Yukon Denali makes 420/460, I will guess 450/525-or possibly 550 @3200 RPM
...and not interested when 1000+ at 1,800 RPM is coming to my garage very soon.
I’ve heard early orders to be delivered in late November this year. I’ll be ordering for mid March delivery after the snow.
I think 600/850 are a bit high for a gas engine, more likely to be around 450/500
And I'm thinking the 450/500 is optimistic. The current 6.2 SOHC is at 385/430. Granted, the new 7.3 has the cubic inches but it's a pushrod OHV and not specifically intended for the Super Duty line. It's directed towards the medium duty trucks. As Ford states, the new 7.3 is designed for efficiency and reliability under constant heavy loads in F-250 through F-750 medium duty trucks. That doesn't necessarily translate into better efficiency in an unloaded Super Duty. Anyways, I'm expecting more grunt but probably minimal more hp so I'm guessing 410/475.
That is what I've been reading, customer orders will not be arriving at dealerships until late Feb early Mar.
That seems a little crazy buying a 2020 truck that you’re practically won’t get till halfway through the year something there is not making good sense at Ford.

It will work out fine for me. I'll be retiring for the second time on May 23, 2020 from my current job. On 1 Aug I will have collected my Army pension for 21 years and then in May 2020, I pick up another pension. That is when the wife and I are going to start traveling to see this great country before the politicians make it impossible.

I tend to agree with this. Will it be class leading, yes. But my guess 420/485. Main objective is reliability, simplicity. But fairness in conversation I'm also gun shy since the 2009 f150 debuted with.... 10 more hp. But more if you run e85.
