I currently own a GMC because I wanted a change up.
Going back to Ford because it simply calls my name. The interior is definitely behind Ram, but I’m sure that will be addressed on the next update. Ram could come out with nuclear reactor power, but I can’t get past the look. GM, we’ll, nice rig, but just too generic looking and feeling.
The new Silverado really looks gimmicky. There are too many cuts and folds for no reason. And somehow, it looks small. If I wanted small, I'd buy a car.
Air ride “ride quality” is a little overblown. You still need pressure and an air bag must not only hold enough pressure to fully suspend, but hold enough to not let the truck bottom out on stiff jolts. That being said, punch on a semi tire with 120 lbs of air inflation pressure and see how soft and supple it is.. trust me, it isn’t...
That is a very strange video. The perp's arm is visibly broken by the blast. His shirt is blown off. The tire lets go with visible vapor or smoke. And the kicker, the tire is still not deflated at the end. Maybe the truck had interior beadlocks. I used to run those, it's a tough short inner tube that you inflate to 80psi, holding the beads on the rim so you can deflate the tire to as low as 5psi for extreme 4-wheeling
Weird.
My insider was saying Ford is shooting for the $1,500 area for upcharge on the 7.3. Only time will tell.

I cant tell if it is a dually. If so, I could see the inside tire holding the weight so the outside tire would not really show it was flat.

My father had a semi tire blow on him while airing it up to 120psi. His work did not use cages to air up tires. He is lucky to be alive today. When it blew it sent him flying along with the tire and rim that landed on him. He had to have one knee reconstructed along with some bumps and bruises. No joke when it comes to tires.
Ford first to offer push start - auto high beams / auto windshield washers ect.
Incorrecto. In fact, when I went to replace my 08 SD in 2015, I was stunned to learn that Ford didnt have push start/remote key option at any trim level. Ram had it since at least 2014. Ford didnt offer until 2017.

I’m not sure. You may be right but my 13 ram I thought it was a wierd looking key that inserted into it. It definitely had remote start . I’m trying to remember when the f-150 came out with first then in 17 when the super duty got re designed. I forgot OEM retractable steps in that list.

No worries. I'm not right about much, but I am about this. The remote key was one of the main deciding factors for me going with Ram in 2015. I've since moved back to Ford with a 17 SD.
