The F-350 SRW remains at the same height as the 19’. Only the 250 will be lowered.

Yeah, myself I won’t buy a left over truck that misses the power and drivetrain or styling upgrades. I’m one of “those” guys who needs the new stuff and would be kicking myself over saving a couple dollars and banking on the old and worn out “tried and true” theory..

The PCO's have been around for awhile, they arent some new marketing tactic to dump the 19's. It might not seem like it from being on this forum, but not everyone gets a PCO, in fact I would bet that the majority dont and many dont even know what it is. The true sign will be when Ford ups its public offers and dealer incentives. The highest public offer on a Superduty I have seen in the past several months were on the STX at $2500 off. Soon that may be on all 19's.

Gets pretty expensive to always have the "new stuff". That 2020 will be the old stuff in maybe as little as 2 years would be my guess.

Not per the Ford engineer in the video in link above. Why would Ford do that anyhow especially considering his comment on easy of 5th wheel loading? The SRW F350 is more 5th capable.

In another video the exact same guy said it was only the 250

In the TFLtruck video from the first post, the one I reposted, an engineer says the 250 only. In the video you posted another engineer says all. Currently the 250 sits taller than the rest.

There was quite the contradiction by that guy. I’m thinking they are going back to small block for the 250 and large block for the 350.

My guess is in the later video, he corrects himself. I just can't see Ford having 1 1/2" height differential between the two SRW trucks. Again, especially when his stated goal was 5th wheel/gooseneck hookup and ease of access. I guess we'll know for sure when the 2020 Spec guide is released. ForCal is correct that the current F250 sits slightly taller (~3/10").

Any talk of lowering the truck is a deal breaker. If I want a lower truck I'll do it myself. Does Ford think its customer base is represented by those two corpulent old men? You rarely see a 4x4 here in TX that is not leveled out. If cab access is an issue, get running boads.

I bet the real reason is Obamao staybehinds in DOT pressuring Ford about high ride height.

Towing can be difficult with a tall truck.

That's why I tow heavy with my 18, which is merely leveled. Not difficult at all. A dream in fact.
I tow under 2T with the lifted 04, or the 2" 00 2wd on 20s.

Well, there are other videos out there that specifically say the 350 remains the same height, and that only the 250 will be lowered.
Don't ask me to find it. The truck will be built soon and you’ll have your answer.

I guess the savings is worth it for some, but makes little sense to me in the big picture. Losing a year’s worth of resale value kills the savings alone, along with missing out on a MAJOR power train upgrade.
This updated model design runs three years.
