Hey ya all, Jack here currently have a 37 1/2 Ton, and a 49 Merc 1/2 ton. They are both currently being worked on, and will both remain stock.
Then again by next month might have something different. Always selling trading, buying who knows.
Thats my run down on vehicles, by the way Old Fords always, for me.
Hi Carline
Been awhile since I have been on, how have you been I have been working on the ol 49coe, making slow progress looking for the guy in Montana for some vin # clarification... Skip

There must be more than one Skip on this board....but thats OK. I'm looking for a good 1940 Ford "Tonner" (one ton pickup) )!Y I think. Bought one running in 1965 and ran it for years. Looked like the Beverly Hillbillies! Good old truck and I'd like to find another.
thanx 47coeman. this is actually about the 10th project truck ive had , had a 40 long time back others "all fords " from late fifties. yep it was fun just buying it . as it was semi buried in stuff and covered in tarps so all I could realy see was from under it .any way I finally have one ... thier so cool.
Pretty new to the board here, and I signed up mostly for my 77 F150 that I bought recently, but I've also got a 46 Ford pu. I'm 46 now, and I've had this thing since I was in the 6th grade. I traded my uncle a motorcycle for it, and then when he died, my aunt gave the bike back to me. The truck is basically a rust bucket, but it's still mine, and it's setting in my carport in the hope that someday I'll have a place where I can start tearing down and putting it back together. My hope is to make it just something to drive to cruise night in. The great thing is that my 10 yo daughter is wanting to get involved in it too.
I'm enjoying seeing your rides and hearing your stories.
I have a 38 1/2 ton. I bought it from a department store in Phoenix that was going out of buisness. Still looking for parts but wouldn't sell it for anything. It's restoration will be as close to original as possible.
Howdy Snowking aka Ryan from Canada. I have a collection of several running/restored truck but my attention has swayed to my 1946 Mercury halfton. Original stlye flathead V8. mainly stock"ish"
Gary, new to this site and trawling old messages. My name is jack neville and I am restoring a very unique WW2 Australian Army version of the 1939 122" 1 ton PU. (8" lengthened cab and converted to roadster style with folding canvas roof) Having alot of trouble locating new front and rear uni joint and a rear 14" brake drum. Any clues or advise? By the way, I live in Australia too. Been looking at a few other sites and surprised that 38/39 fords seem to be a bit of a rarity in the states as well. Regards- Jack
Hi Jack, I have a 38 1/2 ton and I am having trouble also. It seems the 38/39 was a fleet year and with the war they were used the most so not many survived. Always good to see another Ford Coming back to taunt all other car makers.
Hi all,
Fairly new here myself. My name is Aaron. I just bought a 37 1.5 ton stake bed from the original owners grandson. 15k on original everything. drove it out of his hay barn. Just started to put it back together.
