Hi, we are from Germany. The northwest region, close to the Netherland border.
In this area the country is that flat, that you could see already on Wednesday who is headin` up to your place for sunday-afternoon coffeetime........
No, I am kiddin`!
We own a 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat reg.cab./shortbed with a 300 I6 and 4-speed man.gearbox. Colour of our "big iron" is tan with sidepainting in beige, 2-tone. Has 89 Kmiles on the clock. Or 189 kmiles, or 289, who really knows..... Carries an alu-style campertop.
No probs so far, the car was "wax-flooded" in all the body and the underside. Definetely no rust ! Mileage could be better, takes 15-17 liters per 100 Kilometers (price USD 1.40/liter or US quarter)
I live in Switzerland -- close to Zurich. Switzerland is a boring place and bl..y growded. I'm originally from Finland -- less growded, less everything -- except land, lakes, forests, etc -- which I like.
I have my family here in Zurich (wife,2 kids and 4 wolfdogs) plus F-150 2004 Lariat Screw.
Hello everyone !
I'm from Northwest Germany (Bremen/Oldenburg/Verden area) as well. Ride a F-150, mostly on the weekend. Fuel is too expensive for daily driving the truck.
In the members list I found about 65 people from Germany, but most of them do not state their Location in their Profile, so where live you guys.
I invite all German Enthusiats to reply here, may be some of us can get in touch for technical discussion, having a few beers or whatever.
Dieter, Langwedel, Germany
P.S.: Great forum. Thanks to the people running the forum.
@GermanGuy:JoJo, Petra and their "Big Iron" live in 48727 Billerbeck, near Muenster, NRW
That is not that far away from Bremen/Oldenburg.....
So, give me a PM, if you like to !
Its a regular cab, 4x4 7.3L Apart from the bigger wheels, tyres and lift it has Bushwacker flares(OE Style) and I bought some Aero style headlight and clear corners. (EBAY). I also had installed a good sound system.
