Hi- I'm Tom from Baudette, Minnesota. Just bought a 1934 1 1/2 ton truck which I hope to use to haul grandkids (7). Expect to get it running this week- need 6 700x20 tires/tubes. Any suggestions/help?
Hi I am Joe. (37Ply is my other car) I am building a 1938 Ford Pick-up for my wife. Right now it is in the torn apart / Planning stage. It has the original flat head with 2 duces and runs great. It also has the old Granny 4 speed transmission that need to be replaced. I have a 302 and C4 for it but I hate to replace the old flat head. I have lots of body work ahead plus frame and supension work to be done.
Hello Carlene and all FTE My current daily driver is a kind of obvious 1936 1/2 ton street rod 351c/c4/9"rear it's close but as all projects never just right. Wife and I both love working on and driving her. Love to see the heads spin, gotta drive real slooooow so they can all enjoy.

It's nice to hear about other couples involved in project vehicle. I know Steve & I enjoy working on our truck together. Gives us that much more in common.
You know I'm gonna be pestering you to create a Photo Gallery here so you might as well just give in now and do it.
Carlene, If I knew how that might be doable, I'm at work and browse at any chance I get. If I was at home I could get one of my kids to do it.... They know everything!!!!!
I'll see what I can do
Thanks DD
I'm Pat Murray and I live in Moodus, CT. I've got a 1932 BB (V8) thats been sitting in my yard for over 20 years now. Now that my kids are a bit older I'm starting a frame up restoration in the next couple of weeks. I've never done this before but can't wait to get started.
I'm Bob, and have been building a 1934 Ford Pick Up for the past 5-7 years. Of course it's got an all Ford drivetrain (302 / C4 / 8" rear). After attending the Frog Follies show a few weeks ago, I've got a renewed interest to get it on the road!
I got a 36 ford 1/2 ton that Ive had since over 1 yr., it was hotrodded back in the day.
Its got an olds drive train with a buick nailhead in it not running .
unfortunately I only got the remains as it doesn't have an interior or bed
and lets not even talk about the grille, hood, running boards or fenders(lots of work to restore).
But I love it anyway .
As this is my 1st project and I plan(learn how) to do all the work myself.
Hi, I'm Cliff in Texas. Have completed a frame off resoration of a '46 Ford pick-up. Dad is enjoing driving it. We completed it about 3 months ago but still working out a few bugs. I learned alot about flatheads and old trucks, but the best info I got came from here. Keep up the good work, and keeep them old trucks running. Cliff
Hello all, I too am a member of the '47 and earlier brotherhood. I have a '46 1/2 ton, that unfortunately, isn't too far along as far as resurrection is concerned. The cab forward is in good shape, but the bed is shot. This may be blasphemous, but I plan to sit it on a '68 3/4 ton chassis that was given to me, with a custom flatbed behind. I'm just looking to a have an enjoyable old truck, on a TIGHT budget. I hope to find some pointers toward that goal here.
Hi
I'm Paul and I aquired a 47' 1/2 ton this summer with a Chevy 350 (not my choice for this truck). I am planing to upgrade the brakes, stering, and add A/C and heat. My goal is to have an original looking exterior and interior with updated running gear. As it has been over 20 years since I did a project, I look forward to using the expertice of the people in this forum for parts sorces and avoiding pitfalls
