Pulling Flathead Questions

Hey guys,

I have never pulled a flathead from a vehicle before and have a few questions. Which bolts do you use to pull the engine? I take it, it is a couple of the intake bolts? Which ones do you normally use?

Thanks,

Whenever I have pulled a flathead out I normally use 2 opposite head bolts.

snowking's right. head bolts are strongest, intake bolt bosses are too weak to gamble with!!

I've found that using an adjustable lift device works well with any engine, but particularly well with the flathead

When lifting flatheads with aluminum heads, I have no qualms about using FOUR intake bolts.
