Coming Sync 3 update

Unable to downgrade from 3.0 build 17276 to version 2.2 or 2.3. When I try to installing the official 3.0 18025 it tells me it is already up to date. Ill keep trying but if anyone else has any hints ill take them.

Waze has always been available with android auto. It was said that with this update we could now use Waze with apple devices. Didnt work though...

I got both. I disabled wifi and auto updates hoping it goes away. Havent been able to check again yet if that did it.

I downloaded the update last night. Plugged it in this morning while I drove to the jobsite. It popp'd up about 20 minutes into my drive and said it was complete.
Like others, I'm getting the request to connect to wifi every time I start the engine. When I get hom tonight, I'll connect to my home wifi and see if that clears the message

Well, darn. I had "early-adopted" version 3.0 with build 17276. It worked fine, but I was never able to get it to report back to Ford as a successful install. Anyway, I loaded up the newest version today, on a formatted thumb drive, attempted to install and after roughly 10 minutes it told me that I have the current version already installed. So then I did a master reset and tried again. Same result. So no build 18025 for me. At least build 17276 is working fine.

I just downloaded the update. I'm tempted to go outside and start it, but this 1st day of Spring Nor`easter has me thinking otherwise.

I downloaded and did the upgrade this evening, I don't see much of a difference except the steering wheel heat control is now on the main screen. I don't seem to be having any WiFi connection issues everything seems to be working fine.
What were some of the other changes with this upgrade?

Downloaded and installed update. First attempt it updated for over 1 1/2hrs and never finished. Shut truck off unplugged usb restarted and was done in 15mins. Literally zero change that I see. Dont have heated steering wheel so never got that icon. If I could do it again I wouldn't waste my time. Oh ya also getting Wi-Fi message as well.

Pulled in my Driveway, Shut down and restarted. Selected the Show Wifi and it found the wifi in my house and logged on the message went away.,

More than likely one will not have to use their phone for Waze because it`ll be an app for the SYNC 3 system.
