Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Been running my tail off and not really accomplishing much. Got the garbage and the recycling taken care of so that pile is gone. I got the new 2019 tags on the boat so it now has green squares on either side of the bow. (I was so hoping for blue)
Still have to run down to the farm and building supply store and get some wood pellets.
I should probably settle into my most favorite thing and the funnest part of the month - first of the month book work and bill paying. Then maybe dabble a little with our tax returns.

Hey Jim, Knuckle Head is suppose to be in town.
From KATU:

On Sunday, Wyden wraps up his busy weekend with a noon town hall at Century High School in Hillsboro.

I was wondering why DEQ elevated the air pollution index to "Danger - Stay in doors and wear a mask" levels!"

Good morning everyone. My first week at the new job went well. Those big golf course mowers are interesting to work on.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Lunch time West of the Rockies.

They don't use plows John, they have a special prop they put on the boat motor and a special old manual push mower they attach to the bottom of the boat.

They mow Golf Courses around here all year long as long as the ground is firm enough to prevent ruts.
There is a golf course not to far from here (The Bayou Golf Course) that they golf on a few months of the year but is under water and a lake most of the winter. They duck and goose hunt on it in the fall and winter, but I don't think they have put mower blades on the bottom of their hunting boats...yet.

They’re mowing. Not too much right now because the grass grows super slow this time of year. We’re trying to get all the mowers back into good shape before spring when it warms up and the grass takes off.
