Poncho, which odb device did you use? The Bluetooth one that’s suggested from the forscan thread? My dealer was no help with disabling the hyper flash for me...ordering 2 more sets of these leds for my rear today...

Yes. An OBDLink MX. The guy from the video used a USB model with the toggle switch in it, so I wondered if the Bluetooth model with no toggle would work. But it did just fine.

One thing to note: many of the other FORScan changes I made were done in the AS BUILT BdyCM. This modification is done in the BdyCM shown below the AS BUILT. Things are actually spelled out there, such as Front Bulb Turn Outage instead of having numbered key positions like the AS BUILT does.
I went with these Alla fogs from Amazon. They're H10/9145 replacement. Amazon's chart says they won't fit, I'm guessing because the stock bulb shows a 9140. The item description shows 9140 as one of the cross reference numbers so I ordered them. They're in and functioning just fine.
Used along with the Beamtech you don't see as much contrast or noticeable difference like when you activate fogs with the all halogen setup. I still like it better. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Installed both of those today, fogs and mains. Just over $100 total, the fogs take about 2 minutes to install, about 20 min on the mains, I removed the battery on the drivers side to get to the lower bulb easier, if you have skinny arms, you may not need to.
I found the Beamtech gaskets to seat nice and firm, not loose, no need to put a second gasket on it as some say they did by putting the stock gasket on the Beamtech gasket, effectively having two (?), Definitely not needed IMO, snug, firm seat. Maybe they replaced the Beamtech gasket with the stock gasket, not sure.
Either way, best $100 I spent on any mod on any vehicle.
Pics? Not so much, you can see others that have the same lights earlier in this post. Will be driving from 2am to 6am tomorrow morning, will post back on how they are over the stock halogens.

finally got my obd link in today. Already has forscan download and licensed on my laptop so it literally took like 5 mins to make the proper changes and hyperflash is gone. Note to anyone that takes this route, make sure you save whichever modules you plan to modify first for a just in case moment something doesn’t go as planned. Cover your butt.

The only problem that I've seen reported is that sometimes you don't realize that the gasket didn't come off with the halogen bulb. Then you try to install the Beamtech, creating a double gasket situation.
It happened to me with one light. Believe me, it ain't going in with 2 gaskets!
For the money (not much) that I've got tied up in the Beamtech headlight and the Alla fogs I'm pretty happy with the results.

You can also look up how your modules were originally programmed here and change them as needed if you got into a jam:
I just installed these this afternoon and it was less than 30 mins for all 4 (no fogs). I appreciate everyone else paving the way with the instructions....super easy when you have all the tips and tricks laid out for you!
Poncho, I skimmed this entire thread again, did you ever post after pics? I am mainly wondering if the light on the beamtechs and the fogs you have posted that you use, look the same (as in light color)

Thanks!
One shot dead on, another from a slight angle. Bear in mind that everything is white in the headlight section because of the switchback signal light bulbs.

I may have missed it but which bulbs did you use for the front signals?
OK. Sitting at dentist office waiting for my wife so I brought the laptop & OBDLink along to pass the time.
The instructions starting about the 32 minute mark of the video you posted worked just fine for me.
Of course I didn’t have to flip a switch on the adapter like he did because mine has none. I didn’t change the settings for rear lights yet because I’m waiting for the bulbs to arrive.
But adjusting the Front Bulb Turn Outage to No Outage, the Outage ABM to No Outage and the Frequency Selection Line to LED did the job. No more more hyper flash in the cluster.
forgot to ask you about this. When you changed your frequency to led what exactly did that do? When I turned that to led it cause my inside cab lights to lightly pulsate. Switching it back to halogen corrected this. Did you experience this as well? I know it’s not necessary to fix the hyperflash but now I wonder what it’s function is. Ideas?

I only did it because the video showed changing that particular setting. I’ve noticed no negative effects on anything else.

I ordered and installed the Alla in the Amazon link below. But beware. They did not fit securely. This seems to be a problem with several bulb brands. If anyone finds a switchback LED that snaps in tightly right out fo the box I'd be interested. I posted a question about brand/part number of the bulb in the YouTube video from the thread below and subscribed to it.
Fatfenders posted his remedy, which was to grind away some material from the plastic bulb base. I did this with a Dremel and got the bulbs in. I'll leave a link for that also. I was a little apprehensive about the fit even after removing material from the base. But they've been in for a week or so and are still there. And we've got some rough roads due to frost heaving.
