poncho. Thx for helping w leds they look great... keep it up...question...on start up I get a flicker then when truck turns over then they stay on. Have you noticed that?
Look up above a couple posts. Answered that one for ya!
Thx. My phone did not update. So it seems normal cool. Ya man. If we can keep helping out others that's great. I have 3 kids and civil servant so every little bit helps. Some of us don't have the luxury of spending 3k for light up grades so this is a slice of it. Thx to all that help out. Keep up the good work.
When starting truck w lights on I get a flicker while cranking and initial startup. After start no issues. Anyone else....is it normal?
My HR SuperNovas do the same thing. Seems like a little voltage dip on starting.

Can't compare 'em to factory LED because I've never owned or ridden in a truck with them. But for $74 for all 4 bulbs I'm happy as hell with them.
In the month or so I've had the Beamtech installed, I've been flashed exactly one time. If it ever becomes a concern, the lights could be adjusted downward a bit.
Even with the much brighter LED's (and 4 bulbs vs2 bulbs) I still feel like the down the road light from the SD isn't as good as my halogens were in my '05 F-150. I think it may just be the design of the housings on the SD.
Love the whiter/brighter light of the LED's, especially the lows with the fogs. I went with the HR bulbs since they had some good reviews on here. I wanted a plug-n-play solution that works. Seems like there are a lot of junk LED's out there, but if I had waited a little, I would have gone with the beamtech's based on the results here. Absolutely can't beat that price. I think probably HR has a fair amount of cost and overhead tied up in marketing and advertising which pushes up the cost of their bulbs. I ordered them on their black Friday sale for 20% off and like others posted, it took a week or 10 days to ship, which was fine but in today's world of 2 day delivery seems slow.
I've also had no issues with oncoming traffic flashing their high beams even though the LEDs are much brighter. Super happy with them (even if they were quite a bit more than the Beamtechs). Either way, its nice to have cost effective options that members here have had good results with.
Still irks me that OEM LED's (and adaptive cruise) required the CC Lariat with ultimate package as a minimum to be able to add them as options. These lights proved to be a good alternative.
I’ve only purchased license plate leds from HR. Took less than a week. They’re shipping is stupid high for those little bulbs so I doubt I’ll order from them again. I think the bulbs were 15 but the shipping was 9 bucks. Crazy

Good review and glad you're overall happy with them. The more information that's posted here, the more options others have when it's time for them to decide.
I've taken off the rear light on mine to install a tailgate dampener. it would be an extremely simple install, even if you have the bliss system like mine. i wish my solder skills were even half way decent then id go full led all around.
Bought and installed the same Beamtech LED headlight bulbs as Poncho450 from Amazon. As he has stated check for the red gasket when you removed each bulb as you can not install the LED's with the gasket in place. I had one tough bulb that I struggled with to remove but install took under 45 minutes for all 4. Picture shows the difference between the LED's and the stock bulbs before installing the remaining bulbs.
The light output is much better, bright white and visibility of the road is improved...well worth the time and money.
If anyone notices yes that is a 2018 Expedition Max in Stone color, that truck drives like a dream and we are VERY happy with it.

Ordered some LED 194 bulbs for the license plate lights this morning. That would only leave the tail/brake lights and cab markers for LED replacement.
I was following the other thread on wig wags. So I'll probably wait until someone comes out with an OBD plug strobe that will work while the truck is in gear before I go LED tails. I don't feel like wiring in new modules & switches. It's that much more to dismantle at trade in time.

Isn't there a forscan fix to enable LED tailights/blinkers to work correctly?

Possibly #70 on the spreadsheet. I haven't really looked into it because I'm not considering rear LEDs yet.
What I was talking about in that post was to have the front & rear signal lights work similar to a police vehicle or service truck where the tail lights and front signals strobe back & forth. Mainly for snow storm use for me.
Speed Turtle make an OBD module for this. But so far they're only listing it for F150 and state that the vehicle has to be in park. They need to do better than that for $149.

Glad that you like them. What people like and don't like is so subjective, you almost hate to recommend a product sometimes.
I have no data or side by side comparison, but looking at the night time pictures in this thread, I would bet the difference between the 2 brands of headlights is minimal. But totally a guess.
One observation: The SuperNova fogs are WAY brighter than the OEM halogens and really standout. Again, no real idea how they compare to other LEDS, but HR intentionally spec'ed a much brighter bulb the stock for the fogs.
