Reminds me of a road called the international. It was a Dutch road but went through German territory and I think it was a legal grey area, at least there were never cops on it - but I never exceeded 140mph on it 😎
When Germany took it back they built2 traffic circles to connect it to their roads. Both times when they were completed, vehicles in both directions embedded themselves into the Centre on the first weekend. Same is bound to happen with you
The traffic circles around here tend to have wheel tracks over the top of them.
The really early ones they have in Tacoma are so restrictive I had to make a left
because I just could not fit the F250 long bed ex cab I had back them. So to make
a turn that was 3/4 of the way around I just would turn left and not go right.
If you grew up in Jersey, traffic circles, aka roundabouts are no problem. However, as people have moved in or your at the Jersey Shore with Bennies, some have been confusing to people so they get converted or modified. Growing up with them each seemed to have its own rules of who had the right of way. Where I live now there were 5 with 15 minute driving window., now only 2 and one has big yield signs on it altering the former traffic pattern.
Yeah, occasional people tried to take a shortcut.
In town, there seems to be controversy over these at about 50/50. The next town installed speed bumps recently and the homeowners are complaining for two reasons: Some trucks have diverged onto other roads and those complain about the traffic even those roads have signs excluding that sized truck; Trucks passing over those bumps make noise or if traversing too fast create vibrations in those homes. They should try living across from Earl Weapons Station, where out of service ordinance is exploded all the time.
Just a quick read of the latest comments and they are on target.
The problem is there and also in Olympia at state level.
Some of these people get into office then ignore the people that
voted them in and just do wwhatat they want.
Where have I heard that? I know, the disaster called Brexit! When I look at the intellectual pygmies we have as politicians I despair. Europe is no better 🙈
Must have been something bad. Just watching brexit this morning - in U.K. this week, utter disaster, slow motion train crash, most of the world must be scratching their heads in stunned amazement. One friend recently got German nationality, now that's just going too far 🙈
Makes me long for the days where you can pack up your stuff and go to a place no where can find you and live your own life. With drones, satellite surveillance, helicopters etc there is no where to be truly by yourself and mind your own business.
