Corner bass traps are there but it needs more wall work IMO.
One thing I want in any house I move into other than a large shop is hardwood floors.
I dislike carpet. It's just one big dust trap.
Thanks for the post Jack this is cool.
I an curious how they look when your right on top of them.
Silly idea. How about a atom bomb mushroom cloud for the guy that likes a lot of thump.
When I had my dual cone SVS subwoofer in the family room, corner loaded directly below the dining and living room, I could easily rattle the dishes with something like the opening scene from one of the Terminator movies. I think it was a Thankgiving at our house and we had my mother who was hard of hearing over. She and Les were upstairs, and I showed our son and grandson my new subwoofer with that movie opening. My mother thought there was an earthquake during the referenced scene. I ended up selling that dual off and went with a single, too many JACK being yelled down.
So yeah Sean, a mushroom cloud would be relevant.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
There was somewhere between 3 and 4 feet of cement between me and the auditorium. I could feel the T-Rex when it showed up the first
time on screen. That theater was a single screen with 1200 seats and one hell of a sound system. On top of that they were using Dolby
DTS with some crazy sub woofers. Being a single screen you can get away with things like that that shake the house.
The other wild place to be for sound and I had worked on the equipment install crew that built the place is the Oat Tree Cinema in Seattle with it's THX house.
It took 6 of us to lift the sub woofer into place and it even had to have it own power to run it. That one was so amazing. When they ran some test film thought it
they used some 70mm film from the first reel with the Opening Scene Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom. You could hear the sequins move on her dress.
Needless to say I was very impressed with what we had built.
Now any time I see it I think just how muddy the sound is.
Acoustic dampening panels, and night sky ceiling with florescent stars and clouds...

"License and registration, Sir.
I stopped you for excessive speed and erratic landing, including crossing the lanes. Also failure to use a left turn signal.
Please step over here and walk down the line."
Dug a hole and managed not to take out wife's rasberry bush.
12ish foot boat. Otherwise junk.
Added boat to hole and graded around it.
Added a pond liner and water.
End of day one.
Onto day two.
Picked up pallet of PA field stone. 3k#s worth.
4 or 5 buckets worth. Glad I got the tractor.
Two layers of stone first, pulled the liner up over those layers and continued layering stone. Built it up in the back and added a water fall using the filter pump. Done! We added 4 tadpoles, 7 Comets, lillies, and couple other things.
So we always wanted a little pond. I (she) wanted rid of the boat. I needed an excuse to use the tractor, trailer, & 6.0. Missions accomplished. And the kids had fun helping.
