I was concerned about the taper and spoke with pmf. they stated the factory taper is 2.5, however I have a long bed and they said the oem blocks are flat. my ford dealer is installing mine so I will end up going with the oem ones hopefully eliminating any future warranty issues. the dealer told me they have lowered multiple trucks.
Wait, this is the only place I've seen this. So, the 8' bed trucks don't have a tapered block? I've got a 2019 f250 crew w/ 8' bed that I'm looking to drop down for gooseneck trailer clearance.

yes, the long beds do have tapered blocks. The 17 to 19 blocks are 3 1/4 inch high with about one degree of taper. The 20s have 2 inch blocks with about 2 degrees taper.
I have ave a PMF 1.5 inch, 2.5 degree tapered blocks with airbag tangs listed on FB market place for sale. I also have a set of the stock 2020 blocks I’ll sell. I built my own 2 inch blocks with 1.75 degree taper with airbag tags. They work great.

I am going to do this to my 2017 F250 Platinum. I see different versions of tapered vs flat blocks. Want to go the ford OEM route because I have Ride Rite airbags currently that'll mate with the OEM tangs. What part numbers would I need to order from Tasca Parts?

i have a set of stock 2 inch tapered blocks for a 2020 I’ll sell (new). I was going that route before I decided to build my own blocks. 160 shipped. That’s what they cost me (with a decent discount). The flat blocks for the 2016 and earlier F250s are a lot cheaper (2 inch as well).
I have a new set of the lower 2016 OEM 2" rear spring spacers that will fit a 2017 SRW f350 that I don't need. They are free for the first taker and I'm located in the Sacramento area in Northern CA. PM me if you're interested and can pick them up. Shipping these out would be expensive.
I am wondering if they are the bocks for an F350 SRW and a DRW. I know someone did it here but Ican not seem to find the post.
When researching this for mine (still need to do it), I crawled under a 2019 DRW 350 at the dealer and the block looked to be about 1" tall. It'd be great if someone could chime in here with their factory block height on DRW! I'd like to use those blocks as I think 2" lower in the rear is a bit better than the 1" lower the 6C3Z-5598-A (2016) blocks get you.
I believe the part # is HC3Z-5598-C for the DRW 2019.
EDIT: After a few days more of research, and being able to see another 2017-2019 dually on the dealers lot, I'm not sure if the HC3Z-5598-C is a 1" block like I thought... Th dually I looked at today had maybe 2" tall blocks, and reading back through this thread I found where b-foster posted his 350 dually blocks and they don't appear to be 1" tall: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post17653192
It does look like the 450s have the 1" blocks though (confirmed on brother in laws 2020 XLT 450 DRW, need to find the part # on them), so maybe thats the truck I originally crawled under at the dealer a few months ago. Wish I still had the pictures I took saved...
Used cficare's very informative post 120 to do this to my 2019 F250 Lariat FX4 6.7PS this morning. It was a "2 hour, 2 cup of coffee" job with zero surprises. I used the spacers mentioned and reused/shortened/painted my existing U bolts. The edge of my folded down tailgate dropped exactly 2 inches (which was a very welcome change), the rear fender dropped 1 1/4 inches, and the front was unchanged. My truck went from a 3 1/2 inch rake to 2 1/4 inch rake. I plan to recheck the U bolt torque in 500 miles. I am very pleased, thanks for sharing the information.
Earlier in the thread someone posted some sizes for u-bolts that looked like they came from a dealer computer or something (looked like a screen shot from an actual parts look-up). Was wondering if anyone could confirm the length of u-bolt BC3Z-5705-M. I think its the base 2wd u-bolts, and I think would work good with a 1" tall block.
Or on that topic, has anyone here come across a viable option for a factory 1" tall block?

dieseldrive do you still have the 2020 blocks or do you have a part number?
I have a set of 2016 2” blocks if anyone wants them. PayPal or Venmo me the cost of shipping and they are all yours. Or pick them up in Portland, Maine if you are nearby. PM me if interested.

i do, and will sell for $150 shipped. They cost about $80 each at a discount with dealer. I’ll see if I can find the part#s. The left and right are different because they are tapered, which I also assume is why they are more expensive than the 2016 flat blocks (which I also have a set of).
