I have a new set of the lower 2016 OEM 2" rear spring spacers that will fit a 2017 SRW f350 that I don't need. They are free for the first taker and I'm located in the Sacramento area in Northern CA. PM me if you're interested and can pick them up. Shipping these out would be expensive.

I have a 2017 F250 6.7 diesel crew cab. I too am having height issues getting into my garage. Is there a difference between the gas version and diesel version when it comes to replacing the stock spacer with one from the 2016 model?

I've put 12,000 miles on my pickup since lowering the rear end. I swapped the rear blocks and replaced the shocks with Fox 2.0's at the same time. I reused the same u-bolts, and haven't had any issues. I'd recommend doing both mods to anyone who is interested!

Damn grillin the guy cuz you got more money than sense. If you paid cash for everything you own you should have just forked over the extra $75 and bought new u bolts and dont it right. But thats just my opinion.

I’ve re-used U bolts countless times it’s not an issue. If it makes you feel better use red loctite. Just about every bolt on vehicles are “one time use” and I can’t tell you with certainty they do not get replaced most of the time, even at the dealership.

That said, if it makes you sleep better at night, replace them

Any additional comments and pictures you are willing will be welcomed. What blocks did you use? Comments on ride quality with the Fox shocks? ...

I installed these custom lift blocks a couple weeks ago. They dropped the tailgate height by 1.5" or so. They're 2" in height and have the optional bumpstops.

Installed with new u-bolts FWIW...

I’m considering replacing my blocks too. Im no u bolt expert but it seems to me that if you’re installing shorter blocks, then the nuts would thread onto new threads on the bolt. If this is the case I’ll deffinately reuse the factory u bolts.

There's a difference between having money and being foolish with it. I like spending money more than most anyone I know. Just don't like throwing it away on something that provides no gain. Thanks for your opinion though.
