I know this is probably not a popular point of view but would like to lower the entire truck. Seems each new update to the models gets taller. Use to be able to sit on tailgate, now need to jump up or have a ladder to sit on the tailgate. Going to 16 inch wheels would net a small improvement but would be rather costly. Am looking to order a model soon, 350 SRW. Have considered getting crew cab just so can use the back seat area for tool storage since they are too tall for in box toolbox to be practical.
Have you considered a chassis cab with a Reading utility box?
The Westin HDX step bar, rocker protection look good and work great. Much easier to get in the truck without stressing the seat or stepping on the door seal area.
Now that some have lowered their trucks, does anybody want to sell their old taller blocks and longer U-bolts. My brothers 2013 F-250 has the shorter blocks and he wants to raise it for a little more rake.
If it's any help, U-bolt PN: BC3Z-5705-K is the shorter one in this photo. The longer one is the OEM U-bolt from my 2017 F250 4WD with no additional leaf springs other than base 4WD diesel.

Hoping to get that measurement if possible. Thanks.
I had the blocks changed out at a local spring shop. They made new U bolts of the correct length. $14,95 per bolt and they said the steel is a grade above OEM. They didn't even charge for installation labor! I was shocked. The service manager said he didn't feel right about charging for 10 minutes of labor. You don't find that much anymore.

Will you please post up a part number if your dealer comes up with one? If not I may have PMF build some for me.
Will do. The fun part is all the u bolts are 5705 and the last letter tells the length. There seems to be least ten letters that I have found online. There are no descriptions for the parts. Dealer has been great spending time on this for me.

Also interesting...Almost 200 posts and absolutely no mention of the needed part number for the F 350 U bolt. I have never observed this happen on this forum. Usually members are all over this kind of situation.
I have a new set of the lower 2016 OEM 2" rear spring spacers that will fit a 2017 SRW f350 that I don't need. They are free for the first taker and I'm located in the Sacramento area in Northern CA. PM me if you're interested and can pick them up. Shipping these out would be expensive.
Dropped the rear of my F350 4x4 DRW down by 2" today, from the stock 3 1/2" to 1 1/2" blocks using blocks from PMF. Needed those extra couple of inches for a little more rail clearance while towing my 5th wheel full time now. I ended up re-using the same factory u-bolts since I had close to 2" inches of new thread exposed.
I only put about 70 miles on it today after the switch and noticed no difference in ride at all, it still has a very slight rake to it, and overall just looks more "level" in back. Tomorrow will be a better judge of everything since I am towing around 200 miles
