My buddy sais they get around good....a little noisy but not terrible. He was gonna buy nitto ridge grapplers but he was inna hurry and these coopers were in stock. Now he has a wobble at 50 and they are only 3 months old. Had them rebalanced and they went away for now.
so i've been reading through these threads about lowering the rear, and had a thought come to mind i haven't seen brought up yet...
has anyone installed the '16 F250 OEM blocks, and added a 1" front leveling kit, like the one from BDS to further level out their truck without increasing overall height?!? just curious if there's still enough rake with the shorter blocks to allow lifting the front an inch without giving the truck a "Cali Lean". from the pictures i've seen i think this is possible.
i have always liked the look of these trucks leveled with 35s, but i'm restricted to 7 feet of clearance in my parking garage at work. my truck fits fine through the garage stock with 3-4 inches of clearance. so a 2 or 2.5 inch levelling kit in the front won't work; it'd be too close for comfort.
then i thought what if i did the 1.5" shorter blocks in the back with a 1 inch leveling kit in the front.... would that level the truck and keep me at the same ride height i'm at now, and only difference in height would come with adding 35s?

OR have Carli build a OEM/1" lift replacement coil spring and drop the rear. That'd be ideal for me at least lol. I don't wanna go taller, i just wanna save my kidneys from being bruised by the ride.
good to know.... well looks like i'll be finding a new parking spot in downtown Houston! my garage that has 7ft clearance ain't enough for even the stock height. i scraped a concrete beam at the base of one of the ramps this morning! left a few good scratches on the roof!
i guess i'll just have to find a surface lot and settle for leveling just the front
I got a 7' door at my house and I cleared by an 1 1/2" with leveled rear, and 35" tires I borrowed from friend.......
i think my issue in my parking garage is the departure angle on the ramps as i'm coming down and turning to go down the next ramp... when i go really slow and i'm going straight i have like an inch or 2 of clearance. all other times i have at least 6 inches of clearance. i must've been going too fast at an angle when i hit it. wish that ceiling beam would've been set like 2 or 10 feet up the ramp instead of at the base!
I lowered mine by replacing the leaf spring spacers with those from a 2016 SuperDuty (6C3Z-5598-A) which will lower the back-end 1.5 inches. This is just enough for me to be able to use the tailgate steps when I need to get into the bed. It's not completely level but it a lot better than it was.
Love this look! Are you able to tell me the height of the truck off the ground at the highest point? I need to be able to get truck to 81" and hoping swapping blocks like you did will work
I used 2019 OEM f450 1 in blocks. Found the little nipple on the bottom and indent on the top were 5/8 diameter instead of 9/16 like the 250 are. I modified them and grinded them down to 9/16 to fit right. Rear sits only 1/2\" higher in rear. 42" in front 42.5" in rear with 35s on truck. The blocks are tapered also
