Got done this weekend. I replaced the original blocks with the 2016 blocks, which lowered the rear end about an inch and a quarter. Took about an hour and a half, and I replaced the U-bolts with new, shorter ones as well. There are enough threads on the original u-bolts for those who want to reuse them, but one issue you would have would be that a deep-well socket wouldn't be long enough to reach the nut, so you would either have to use a wrench or cut off the excess threads. In my opinion, for no more than they cost, the new shorter U-bolts are worth the money. For those of you who are interested, the part number for the shorter blocks is 6C3Z-5598-A, and the shorter U-bolts is BC3Z--5705-K. I ordered everything from Tasca, and I think it came to about $175 with shipping. It was a fair amount of manual labor while lying on your back, but overall I'm happy with the project.
I assume this would be different for a truck with snow plow/camper package correct?
No, the process would be the same. The block sits under the rear spring pack so the camper package on a 250 adding the upper overload would make no difference. The camper package adds nothing to the spring pack of a 350 so again, no difference there.

Thanks for the part number on the U bolts. Does that part number come as a per side kit? So, 2 bolts and 4 nuts per kit? SO, two kits needed?

I believe he his saying the camper spring is bolted to the top of the spring pack, not clamped by the U bolts so it is not adding girth to the spring pack so the U bolts are not longer.

Exactly. The camper package has no effect on u-bolt length.
Any additional comments and pictures you are willing will be welcomed. What blocks did you use? Comments on ride quality with the Fox shocks? ...
I used the Ford blocks P/N:6C3Z-5598-A. The shocks made the biggest difference on country roads and rough streets. Dropping the air pressures to 50 psi made the biggest difference on the highway, but I'm sure they helped as well there. The remnants... The u-bolts before I cut them off.
The part number for the U-bolt is just 1 U-bolt, so you would need 4 total. Doesn't include the nuts. I reused those.
Just ordered and I wanted to share, I use Autonation, Whitebear Lake Ford via fordparts.com and total shipped for both spacers and all four U bolts was $138.00 shipped. I will re-use the factory nuts. They are available there as well but there is no way to know how many come for the $12 price tag.
I may call them tomorrow and speak to a human and if I can find out the quantity per part number I will update everyone.
