Speaking of mags and holsters... I carry a M&P Sheild .40 in a Alien gear holster, and a extra mag in one of their mag holders.... if I wasn't kicked back in the recliner drinking beer I'd snap a pic... but anyways I'd recommend alien gear to anyone.
So we rode to the mountains for a Vulcan rally that we are 1 of 4 NC chapters helping host. Well yesterday our chapter was riding tail gunner for a trip to the dragon... 318 curves in 11 miles. Once we got to the beginning the group made the decision that we would all ride our own pace. So me and my buddy set out first, about halfway down we catch a couple on a Harley that had started 5 minutes before us. So that slowed us down, however the other group started 10 minutes behind us, but was 30 minutes behind us before they hit the bottom.... with a UPS truck on their *** pushing them down the mountain. Another from the group had to pull over and let the UPS truck pass them.
Today we set out for Walhalla SC and are riding the "Moonshiner 28" through GA back to NC.... by ourselves.

I'll have to check that out. I use an Allen inside-the-pant holster with a spot for an extra mag. When I get home I'll grab a 2-mag carrier for my belt to go along with all that.
Alright it's Friday.. some weeks just seem to drag on. Got a busy weekend planned. Hope everyone is staying cool, the temp is supposed to be crazy hot this weekend.
Good morning fellers!
Been out in the garden, and watering plants, now in the garage getting some work done. Hot here too, our high temp today is supposed to be 98, and a heat index of 107-108. Shari is out of town, has been since Wednesday evening. Her mother had a stent put in her heart yesterday, and is doing well. I've done pretty well not being under adult supervision these last few days. I've gotten back volunteering with the Fire Dept since May, and spent Wednesday afternoon inside a house that was on fire just a couple of hours earlier. I don't remember the last time I've had that much sweat rolling down off of my arms.
Mostly I'm a volunteer photographer, working with the Fire Chief, and Battalion Chief in their investigation, of what caused that fire.
I love it!
Stay cool, drink plenty of beer, they say it has water in it???

Sounds like somebody's not trying hard enough....lol.
Humor aside, hope Shari's mom continues to do well. Have fun and take care, bro!
Thanks James, she's fine and is going home this morning. If it were a big deal, I would have gone to Kansas City with Shari. She was ready for a few day's away anyways.
