3 weeks... damn I got some work to do....
I did finally make it by the license plate agency today and got the title transfer done and got tags for the new trailer. $200 later it's legal.. but they're permanent tags.

Yeah man. Three weeks. Maybe it will cool off some for you. It's been hot as crap around here.
I did the permanent tags thing too for a trailer we have. Made sense since we planned on keeping it.

just kind of an FYI.. you may want to pull the tag off when not in use.. i dunno about your area or how it is in NC.. but couple of my neighbors here in VA had the plates stolen off their trailers parked around their houses.. heard its getting pretty common all across the US...

I did the same thing for the big trailer. I planned on keeping it for a while. However after having it, and it being my first tandem axle trailer, I'm not sure. It's the leonard trailer I bought, and I'm just not happy with it. Doesn't tow as well or as easily as other trailers I've used. Dunno if it's just a cheap built trailer, which it kind of feels like or what the deal is, but it might get replaced when i find one I really like within my budget.
I leave the tag on mine and keep it in the fenced in back yard. I guess if someone wants to go back there and get the tag they probably could.. but it's not really a big worry for me.
