That leads us right into winter here. And every now and then Ma Nature likes to throw a fair bit of snow at us. We have had a few years with back to back storms that have ended up leaving us with 3-4 feet of snow at one time. One of the last big snow winters we had caused the roof on the B and O Railroad Museum roundhouse to collapse and damage a large chunk of historic railroad locomotives and cars.
Once in a while we can get a 2 day white out blizzard and in some yrs we hardly get any snow. Already this yr we`ve had a traces of snow, rain in the middle of harvest with a lot of crops still to come off and the long range doesn`t look good.
Hello again, back in from the shop. Will probably wait a day or two before bolting everything together. Have to make the patch panels for my inner fenders. I'm kicking myself for not setting the panel down off the jack stands before assembling it all, I wouldn't need to fix my fenders then...
Happy Sunday all. Roasting chicken, with mashed potatoes, gravy, and asparagus. It's been cold and rainy for the last 4 days, and doesn't look to let up for another 4. Have a great evening guy's.
Bummer on having to patch the inner fenders John, I`m sure you don`t need that extra work.
We had company for supper Grant. Of course I ate way too much scalloped potatoes and meat load....it`s something that I`m powerless to resist!
I've got ribs and slow bake spuds in the oven and they're starting to stink nicely. Got enough of the yard cleaned that I can now park the 1 ton in back and close the fence. It stopped the drizzle at 10 this morning and we're getting our 1 week warm up, unfortunately it's a short week. My meatloaf is almost a sheppards pie.
It is nice seeing the sun Shaun, looks like the rest of this week is going to be sunny with clouds messing it up. At least it`s finally not raining or snowing.
