Hello Steve, Grant, John, Perry and all who lurk here.
I hate fasting, blood work and needles which I had this morning but it`s all part of my yearly physical.
Another stinking hot day here again.
Its a cloudy day out here, seems to want to rain but not in this area. I get tired of the Drs office myself. Putting more ads on kijiji today and hopefully it'll produce some customers this weekend.
I've got a lot of listings John as there's a lot of crap that I'm throwing at the kijiji fan. I'm restricting everyone to weekend viewing up front in the ad and have posted my prices as firm, if they want to negotiate they can do so at the store.
Its pouring big time right now and the truck is getting pretty much power washed, hopefully the squirrels will polish it when the rain stops.
You should be getting a piece of this in the next few days as we have a few of these fronts coming in from the mountains this next week . There will be some flooding with this one.
There's been a couple of emergency call outs so there must have been a few accidents already. We've been getting some heavy cloud bursts so the under passes are probably flooded and downtown is likely to be crap city right now. Nice to not need to worry about such things with this living at an elevation.
The big flood was a result of spring melting and a river that was worn away so the water went directly into the Bow instead of channeling into 3 rivers. There's flooding in the spring every couple of years but the city never actually does anything about it but minor remediation and talk about it in council. When you have a major river running through the middle of town and you build your city center around the river, one would think that some serious long term flood programs would be in order. I guess nobody has figured out that rivers flood on a regular basis in the spring.
It rumbled most of the afternoon out here, there was some good rain with it. When the Sally cat wakes up and gets off me it'll be time for another 10 ads.
