Habit is about 45 years old, I have days that I slow down on and then a couple of days later its up again to 15 cigarettes. Been doing the half smoke routine and no cigarette for as long as possible from the start of the day but only make it to supper time. Still trying though so one of these days it'll catch and I'll go a day without any and that will be the end of the habit . Can't take any nicotine products due to the heart and low o2 levels of my blood as that can cause another stroke or possible heart attack .

I quit in 81 and had smoked from the age of 14 years, I was a pack and a half smoker and more if I was drinking when I decided to quit. Reason I quit was because I was working with a man who was 63, I was 26 and he was working circles around me and he was breathing like he was resting, I was like I had run a marathon ...I quit the next day..

Our basement is quite noticeably cooler than the main floor, I`d like to spend more time there but so far the management doesn`t agree. 
If you quit smoking on just your first try you`re a better man than me John.
A risk of a thunder storm tomorrow as we could use a lot more rain and hopefully I`m done my Bobcat job by the storm comes.

Be careful with what you wish for John, you may 40 days worth of rain. Not to bad of a working day just wish that I had more shade or some clouds as this little roof is getting to be a hot job to do. They have a gray cat that's keeping an eye on me, seeing as he's got a shady spot to do it from .
