Hello Shaun, good to hear that your work is going smoothly. It was sunny yesterday and again today, showers likely tomorrow and Thursday.
Have a good day Grant, John.

Morris it is going okay today. Had to call the city about a vehicle accident. No injuries. Although the people might feel it in the morning. Involved 3 vehicles. We are still under a flood watch here because of the rain we have been getting. This current flood watch has been in effect for the last couple of days. Will be nice to get a few days this week with no rain.

Sorry to hear that you`re still in pain John. My plans have changed too. I picked up some evergreen seedlings from my brother last night so I should replant them asap plus re-do my wife`s flower beds.

Good morning folks
Am hoping today is better than yesterday as there was a whole 9 people show up here yesterday. Got most of the dead wood out of the lilac hedge yesterday so its starting to look a lot better. A good cruise should make you feel better John. Keep the wife happy Morris and enjoy next week's rain.
Time to finish the coffee, open the gate and put the cats to work.

Good to hear it wasn`t a real serious accident Shaun, there`s too many happening around here.A bummer about the flood watch, hopefully the rain ends soon.
Did those 9 people buy anything yesterday Perry? My lilac hedges are looking good with all this rain. My wife bought a few tomato plants we`ll plant today.

Someone turned when they should not have. 1 vehicle towed so far. ( I am watching on CCTV) Guy that turned is not going to like his insurance bill. Damage to 2 other vehicles plus his own.

These were locals out for a walk to check out the construction zone on the corner and were here more as a chance to visit the new kid on the block and chat. Our water line upgrade is worse than we thought as the crew had problems with flooding so they sent a kid down the street to see how many house to street connections were leaking. There's 4 street connections that are bad so we may have these guys around for 2 weeks digging them up and replacing them. Not good timing for me as it means the street will be blocked off soon and I'll need to park in back. May use the time to move my rear fence line 12' and redo my gate .
Wish that I could have spring planting on my to do list instead of the crap on my list.

How does insurance work there Shaun? Here all the people at fault have to pay is their deductible amount which is $700.
A garage sale is a good way to meet the locals and chat. It sounds like the next 2 weeks sounds like it`ll be a real mess in your neighbourhood with the water line problems. My spring, early summer to do list keeps getting bigger.

Depends on how their insurance policy is Morris. Typically the person at fault will have to pay their deductible to at least get their vehicle repaired. Insurance will pay to repair the other vehicle (s) involved to the limit of the policy. MD requires a minimum of $30,000 for bodily injury, $60,000 for 2 or more people, $15,000 property damage to register and tag a vehicle. You can certainly increase those amounts. I know I have higher coverage for my truck. but that better protects me in case of an accident.I also have additional riders for rental car and travel reimbursement if I am in an accident and need a rental or am traveling and need help. I also have roadside assistance which covers towing, flat tires, lock outs and if I were to run out of fuel. Costs more but I better to have and not need it. Last time I had to deal with an accident the body shop had my truck for 3 weeks repairing it. But that was a few years ago and my last truck. The girls insurance footed the entire 6500 bill plus the rental for 3 weeks.

They just finished cleaning the accident up. The last vehicle had to be towed since it was also not driveable. The right rear wheel was tilted in at the top which tells me it might have some suspension damage. Also it is the officers discretion if they will write a traffic citation to the at fault driver for causing the accident.

Doesn't really matter what time of year it is, the list is still never ending, glad I'm not married lol.
Have done better today so far than all of yesterday but it was good to meet some neighbors which is better in the long run.
Have never had an at fault accident in my life but have had 3 accidents 2 of which happened to trucks that were parked in the front of the house.

I have been pretty lucky. One that could have been my fault was ruled in my favor because the girl was making an illegal u-turn on the highway near my house. She practically stopped in front of me in teh middle of a construction zone because she was lost. I had 3 options and chose to hit her vehicle instead of the guard rail or push someone into a jersey wall. totaled the truck I was driving at the time.
