I'm in the backyard writing the chapter of how to do things wrong to get the job done right enough so that the $5 Pool table doesn't fall apart after I put the legs on and flip it upright. It's my new yardsale and outdoor work table. The $10 Pool table is my BBQing Pool table.

It`s 84 F° which is way too hot for this time of the yr, it`s usually more like 70 F °. It takes me a while to get acclimatised to this heat but it`ll be a nice evening to spend time around a fire.
Still at work Shaun?
BBQ tonight Perry?
Getting close on the the renos John?

Reno is pretty much done now Morris, all that is left is to run a cable and install the new ceiling fan..we have fire restrictions here. No open fires allowed..

Good to hear that your reno is coming to a close soon John.
Wile a lot of Sk is under a fire ban we live in a rural municipality that doesn`t have one, Since it is so very dry here we have to be very careful.

There's a fire ban out here and the fire department has been going through the area and putting out fire pit fires as most of them are tended by impaired people, those who have burning barrels and are burning yard waste get reminded that they can recycle it and bag it for pickup .

I heard on the news that there was a grass fire near my other farm, of course there wan`t any details and I haven`t heard any more about it.
Impaired people, fires and dry conditions are a real deadly combination.

At the last place the drunks 2 doors down would get their fires up into the 12 to 14' range which brought it to within a foot or so of the power line coming into their house. The idiots that used to live here were pretty much the same way, probably why they couldn't pay the rent, 5 adults couldn't raise $500 a month each.

Farm fires and field fires are not an enjoyable experience , and some people just have no respect for fire.

I'm used to having a burning barrel but with the recycling programs and garbage pickup I don't need a barrel and I hate the smell of burning framing lumber .

We`ve had too many bad grass fires this spring, it`s been scary.
I have a burning barrel with a wire screen, I don`t use it a lot since I recycle everything I can.
