Is that good or bad Shaun? I`m not sure which I`d choose, extra pay or extra time off.

Extra paid time off is a good thing when one only gets 4 weeks of vacation time.

I`ve been real lucky, being self employed I`ve always had some extra time off both in winter and summer while still making an above average wage.

I have a few times a year I can't take off from work. Mainly due to work load associated with students coming back or training purposes.

Being self employed is very much like that too in a one man operation, certain times of the yr was extra busy.

For my office we start a leave blackout in the middle of August that goes into the middle of September because all of the students return.

My main blackout was late summer into late fall so an early winter was a bad thing. It really shortened my season and made for a very long winter lay off.

Is it major renovations Shaun? Here on campus renovations seem to be forever on going and mess up the very few parking spaces. Parking is a major bummer at the best of times.

Alot of times it is Morris. The last few summers have been spent renovating one of our high rise dorms. They completely gutted the building 3 summers in a row to do all of the work they had to do.They replaced electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler systems, and replaced the fire alarm system in the building.

Good morning to everyone that lurks here.
If it gets as hot as the weather guessers say it will this coming week I should plant palm trees Grant.
I think it`s die time for the Jets John, hope I`m wrong.
