Question. With your fancy 4 link, what are you going to use for suspension? Coil-overs, Leafs? Inquiting minds want to know. On the Jeep we built in my shop we put King coil-overs on all 4 corners. When we got done it was truly amazing how much travel it had.
I have made a little progress lately, I have the brake lines, fuel supply line, and wiring harness at least ran to the rear. I installed the engine and transmission today but had to take the trany back out as I never could get the torque converter to seat. All cleaned up and ready to try again tomorrow.
What makes you think the torque is not seated??
check the pilot hole in the back of the crank to look for obstructions, like a pilot bushing from a standard trans,
spin the torque and jiggle it so it aligns with the pump gears .......
you should hear a firm clunk when the torque is seated ...... good luck

I couldn't get the torque converter up tight to the flex plate. Took it apart to check fit and it is a very tight fit, but it did fit. I think what happened is it wasn't all the way seated and I started tightening one nut too much and put it in a bind. Kind of put a little ridge of you will on the input of converter, where goes into the crank shaft. I have it all polished up again and I checked the fit, ready to try again today.
I don't know that I have ever checked the fit before, there sure isn't much clearance maybe one and half thousands.
It's all back together, all it takes is a little patience. I took the spark plugs out so I could turn the motor over easier, worked on it a little on each side and just like it is supposed to slid right in. LOL
