I bought some used 35 spline axles from a friend and a Yukon Zip Locker and then of course I needed a heavy duty third member carrier! Sense I am having back problems I decided to build an adapter for my floor jack to handle the Third Member.

After I install the air line I used some good RTV to harden the lines ( glue them to the housing ) I thought I had a photo of that but after looking I guess not!

That’s pretty impressive Tim. Your two shop assistants appear to be taking a break!

Thanks Darren, I'm not sure if I'll be ready or not. As slow as things are getting done I doubt it.

Don't know why I didn't think of that third member adapter myself. Dropped a third member in manually with the bronc on jackstands a few weeks ago. That was fun.

Thanks for the pic!

I can think of no better reason to destroy a kiddie pool than necessity!

Here are a few more photos. Fabbing up the 4-Link.

I started out just clamping the brackets in place.

I didn't like how the lower front bracket was working out and I wanted it a little closer to the front mount. So, I cut it down a little. I like it much better. I will cut the angle iron down before I do the final welds.

I picked up a sway bar from Duff and thought I would mount it to the rear. It's not going to work back there as the fuel tank sets there.

It looks like this is what I will end up with. I will have to trim the ends of sway bar arms just a little as I moved the body mounts back a few inches to accommodate the lowered the floor.

Fabbing up the link bars with PVC to make sure everything is right before cutting the DOM tubing.

Looks great! I wish I had the time, space, talent and funds to build something like that Tim. I love tinkering.
