Nope, just one sensor. I'm installing a Holly Snipper 2 EFI. It only uses one. The other reason for installing a bung in the other header is if I can't get a good tune, I can always try the other side. And I may just decide to use the driver's side as my first choice as the header tubes are all closer in length and may give a better reading.
Tim best of luck using the Sniper, I have seen/read mixed reviews about it. It seems that most of the issues are 02 sensor related. That placement of the sensor seems critical to get the readings to the computer. And I have read that having to get the computer replaced or some other sensors more than once has occurred.
Also having the temp sensor in the correct place also seems to be a important fact.
I am sure you will get it handled and please can you post up a detailed elec connection part of it, for us wiring "challanged" folks. Thanks.
Rich, Like you I have heard mixed reviews about the Snipper EFI. Keeping my fingers crossed that I am one of the lucky ones that gets it right the first time......
As I understand it is it pretty straight forward and simple, as long as ALL your Holley components are good to go from the start. As in the elec control items. You got this, and remember the good thing it you are not the 1st guy to do it.
Went back to the beginning and re-read your build thread.
This picture really makes me wish I had gone with one of the aftermarket fiberglass hoods instead of the hood bubble I ultimately went with.
That is a fantastic look.
I got the exhaust tacked together back to the mufflers on both sides now. I need to work on the cross over pipe and get tail pipe figured out yet, but getting closer.
It's hard to get much of a photo, but here is one with my buddy telling me it looks good let's move on.
Just in case you are interested in these, I hung a link here for you. Not sure when they are getting the next batch in stock though. If I was a little bit more computery art/drawing skilled I would draw up a similar design and cut them out at work.
Hi Ken, Yes we are safe, the fire is a long ways from us but the powers to be are doing a great job at keeping it alive. It's not bad during the day but the smoke rolls in at night.
I just read through this entire thread. Great work so far. In 2006, I bought a 1971 Bronco for $500. Then in 2008, times got tough and sold it for $1000. Man do I miss that thing. Today, I can't touch an EB for less than $15k and it saddens me. This is why I will never sell my 1978 F150, ever.
