Finely making some progress on the old Bronco.

Sand blasting before paint.

I made a set of four pucks, two go in the third member housing to hold the alignment bar stright. The other two are on the outside, when the differential is stright the pucks just slide in to the housing.

The alignment bar, ground and polished. Purchased from Summit Racing.

You can see the gap before aligning.

The Rosebud at work.

The gap on the other side.

The pucks installed in the third member housing.

Two pucks made, two to go.

In the process.

After painting

Glad to see Darren posting. I always think of his crazy long pier being put in as the first sign of spring.

That is the top mount for the 4-link suspension. Here is an earlier photo, it's not the best but I think you can get the idea.

I got the frame and all the 4- link arms painted and moved back in the shop today.

First thing I did was through a couple things together to make a make shift rotisserie if you will.

I bought a complete Dana 44 differential from a friend a couple years ago with a One Ton steering tie rod setup for my Bronco project. I haven't talked to him yet, but I must have lost a bushing. A simple task to make a new one.

Here is the before photos, I could not tighten the nut, it would bottom out first.

The bushing:

With the bushing, hand tightened.
