IC pipes are done! I bought a 180° aluminum bend to cut in half for two 90°s to use on the passenger side. I used a 3" piece from the passenger side to lengthen the drivers side pipe. I tacked everything together in the truck with my mig and then took them to work to have someone tig them up. They turned out really nice.

Mmmm purty! Tell that guy I am in awe of his mad aluminum t.I.g. Skillz
Very nice now get them in!
Thanks! Got a couple questions about the ccv mod. It seems like most just vent it to the atmosphere, so what does everyone do with the hole in the intake? Plug it with a vacuum cap? I saw one guy that ran it through a filter/catch can and then back into the intake. I was thinking about using an air filter but the largest I found was 1/2"; not sure if that would put to much back pressure on the vent. But then it would also have a vacuum on one side, so that should help. Thoughts?
Those pipes came out great man, wish mine looked like that, mine are steel and ugly, was going more for function than looks when I build mine. I'll probably have them powder coat them after I get my other engine rebuild.
I definitely go for functionality over looks. One of the craft guys was telling me he could get the bead blaster and shine up the stock SD pipes to match the new pipe that I bought. That would look cool, but I'd be too worried about scratching them.
Go for it, let him bead blast them so they look nice and shinny.
Well, I already took them and don't feel like taking them back on site. Besides, I think I'd prefer a dull look so I'll probably scuff up the shiny pieces; in fact I think I'd really like to see them in black.

Yeah, all of the welds in a reactor vessel get thoroughly inspected on a regular basis; radiation can do some weird things to metal. We don't have that strict of inspections here since this is not an operating reactor; we build the fuel assemblies for the operating reactors.
I finally had some free time to install the IC pipes. I pulled the two hose nipples from the e99 spider, drilled and tapped them to 1/8" npt. One got a plug and the other has the boost gage line. I'm going to have to cut off the post for the air box and move it so that it doesn't cut through the drivers IC pipe. But so far so good; took it for a drive and no issues.
That looks real nice. Any noticable difference in egt?
I would only suggest moving the map hose to the outlet side from turbo as it will make the map read boost sooner. Maybe it doesnt make a difference but many have suggested it. looks like you are about done...
Well, I'm currently running without a chip so I'm not getting a lot of boost or that hot. My egts have been maxing out around 950° when merging onto the freeway in 3rd. This morning it seemed to take longer to get there and I was in 4th before I hit 950°. And the temps seem to drop quicker too. I guess I won't be able to give it a real good test until my chip returns.
I've seen that suggested about the map too; I just didn't want to deal with trying to plug the hole in the plenum at this point. Maybe later.
So I flipped the CCV doghouse and ran some hose over the brake booster and down the frame, but I'd really like to eventually run it back into the intake. I'm thinking something like this... Closed System CCV Mod - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum
While I was at the junk yard Saturday, I found this smog canister on an F150. It looks like it should work pretty good for filtering the oil out of the CCV air.
The foam over the wire mesh and the star shaped foam attached to the lid were deteriorating so I removed those and threw them away; I was able to keep the wire mesh though. The other two filters washed up really nice.
