Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just got home from Salem a few ago. Went to the VA Clinic, then Costco and then stopped in at Denny's for dinner.
Raining cats and dogs here. Auto "rain sense" wipers set themselves at high speed most of the way home. Rain must have been coming in South of you Chris. For a while I thought I was on was on the beach instead of the back side of the coast range.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Didn't get home from Portland and the VA hospital until just about an hour ago. I did stop at Cabela's but I was a good boy and only bought some fudge.
Darned if I hadn't just taken the exit I need for Cabela's and the Warden called. Asked if I was done at the VA yet. I told her I had just finished up and was headed down the road. Then she said, "So how is Cabela's? Please bring me a container of their mixed flavor fudge that I like". That woman has one heck of a sixth sense or else she has me bugged. I think I'll tear my phone apart tomorrow and see if she put a GPS locater bug on it.

From everything I've seen and read, operations will continue as normal. Club points will be carried over, club Visa card will be kept. They did say they would be changing the servicing agent for the VISA Card. Hoping everything stays the same as I have the Silver card so I get twice the points for Cabela's purchases in addition to the military discount.
A little damp over here....sprinkled most of the day. Supposed to be dry tomorrow, then maybe more rain. We will see. Ran some errands today.....got a little BSing done and spent a little time in the shop. All in all a good day.

She has wife radar, you're doomed, Jim! What worries me the most about the Cabela's sale, is the affect it's going to have on Sydney, Nebraska, where the Cabela's headquarters is. That whole town is pretty much dependant on Cabelas, and it's going to have an awful effect when Bass Pro shuts the HQ down.
