I appreciate all the advise. Unfortunately, I had soaked it in zep 45 for a day, welded a nut on, heated the flange to red hot, and the picture was taken after all that. Had to resort to drilling it out. Cut it off flush, used three drill bits,and an easy out. As I told my wife (who had no approximation for my accomplishment) "I win"

Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Warden and I took mother out to dinner tonight. She had a good time.
Our friend from Montana arrived tonight. Had a good visit. Mother will be leaving with her in a couple of days. They are going to a show in Hood River and then onto the Ranch in Montana. After a brief respite, they will be taking a grand tour to Florida.
