Good evening everyone, still getting some rain and wind gust every now and then. Overall we didn't get hit very hard here. Have lots of branches to clean up tomorrow.
Good evening. We didn't get hit hard here either. Some decent gusts came through, and a few rain squalls, but the power only flickered a couple times this morning.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Lots of rain, some pretty hefty wind out at the farm, but only 30 mph here at this house. Even with all of the rain that has fallen the River and Creek both appear pretty normal.
Good soggy morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 50.2, 1/2 rain since midnight, 15-20 mph on wind depending on when you look at the wind gauge and a nice fire going in the pellet stove.
Went out to the shop this morning with great intentions or removing a broken exhaust stud. After attempting three different things, I broke it shorter. Any good ideas?

I don't envy you, if you have a torch that is able to make it cherry red would be best I think, I ended up breaking the ear off one of my manifolds and had to make a trip to the wreckers..
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Only 1.25" of rain so far today. We actually have had more than a lot of places on the beach!

Soaked in "Fluid Film" or "PB Blaster" for at least 24 hours and if that doesn't work, heat to red hot. If that and easy outs fail to work, you may have to drill it out and then use a HeliCoil Thread Repair Kits.

Howdy Luke
Lots of good advice on here for you.
The only other thing you might do is weld a nut to that broken stud. That will give you a better grip than pliers or vice grips. Doing that will also expand the stud a little. That might be enough to brake things loose, but be sure to wait until the nut/weld cools down before trying it. If that doesn't do it, then heat the manifold and it should screw right out. Worse case and you ruin the threads it looks like there might be room to use a bolt and nut to get you going.
Hope this helps.
