Another day of liquid sunshine! Have a drive after work to daughters volleyball game. This weekends game could be even worse depending on if they win tonight. She is still in the playoffs for state.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Kind of dried out this afternoon. More rain on the way.
Had an unexpected meet and conference with Hospice this afternoon/evening. MIL coming down with a bad bug and we discussed treatment options for her. They feel it is highly contagious and strongly recommended the Warden and I avoid visiting for a few days.
Had a chat with the project manager at Lowe's today. Apparently the originally scheduled roofing contractor backed out on them and refused our project. He is no longer with them. Another contractor scheduled to replace him, was terminated last week, no explanation given. The local project manager has gone to corporate and believes we have a roofing contractor they can schedule to handle it.
I'm certainly glad I will never have to roof this house again. I'm afraid I'd be tempted to do it myself with a D8 Cat and the blade set at foundation level!

Jim, I have never seen a roofing job with a D8, if you get to that point take lots of pictures.

Howdy John. Today turned out better than I expected. It poured down rain my whole drive to work, but only sprinkled a couple times the rest of the day. I took the new OHV Ranger out on the dirtbikes this afternoon. He has a street bike, but this was his first time on dirt. He's got a lot to learn...
