Morning to all. Raining a little but warm so I'm good. Just don't like the rain when the temp is in the thirties. Seems to chill me at that point.
Friday so I have the standing dinner date with the wife and drinks at our favorite place tonight.

Good morning Andy and Chris. I had a dry drive in to work this morning. I really got dumped on yesterday morning at work hiking up slippery trails with a chainsaw to cut blow-downs out of the way.
Hopefully it will be a bit drier today.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Just got off the phone with NEW, replacement to the replacement to the replacement......roofing contractor. They are going to be here first thing in the morning and work through the weekend. They want to try to get it done in 2 days! If they do, it will probably be 2 very long days for them or they have a good sized crew. But, we are just happy to get the thing going.
A little worried though. They were saying they wanted to jump on it because we had been delayed so much and the forecast was looking good for two days. My forecast here is saying 50% chance of rain this evening, 80% tomorrow and Sunday and 70% on Monday????????????

That's what bothers me. It looks now like the forecast has changed a little bit for the better, but not that much. Dropped to 60% for tomorrow but still at 80% for Sunday and 70% for Monday.
A second forecast is calling for the same percentages but is saying it is a 60% chance of "scattered" showers for tomorrow.
But on the other hand, if they get a bunch of their equipment here and then have to "call it" for weather, at least I will know they will have to come back and get their equipment...

You know Evan, if you wanted an accurate forecast you should head here to wonderful Colorado!
Well, my truck will be fixed tomorrow....... but I went and got a second, then third opinion. Its the camber bushing causing my issues. But, its never been replaced and the tech center on post doesnt have the tool to pull it. so, rather than fight it and probably break something I dont have the time and money for, im turning it over to the shop and putting four new tires on. Whoopee.
Quick question, how would y'all clean the underside of your truck? Ive done logging trucks but I didnt pay for repairs and that migh be too much.

Several 45 mph runs down the beach at the dunes usually will sand blast it pretty well.
Otherwise the "Ultimate" at the Roadrunner Car Wash, $14.00.
