Made it home and got it fixed and running. Was putting away the tools just as the Warden walked through the door. Had to replace the 6" nipple and the cold water valve as well. So, no sleeping in the dog house tonight.
Afraid a pipe/plumbing job project may be in the not so distant future though.
Beautiful day here....got a few things done had dinner this evening with the grandaughter, her dad and his wife......hadn't seen her in a while so that was good. She will be 14 in a couple of weeks. Already talking about a learners permit next year.
Good Morning Oregon and others. Looks like another nice day, but I'm stuck at work all day. Looking forward to the date with the wife at our usual place tonight.
Picked up a drywall jack for $37 at the Habitat for Humanity store the other day. Got one sheet on the ceiling last night in the barn/shop. It is a commercial style jack but rusted bad, spent more time cleaning it up and oiling it then anything else. But the price was right.

Pex Pipe is good stuff.........Buy the crimp tool and use the copper rings.
Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. If my hunting partner would not have taken two shots to get his deer down we'd have been home two hours earlier! I kept mine on my side of the river. He let his cross to the other side. Thankfully we were far enough up the Salmon River that it is still shallow and wade able. He said it was all my fault as he flinched when I shot at the other deer.
