No disrespect... What I don't understand is that you are willing to pay to have your truck towed back home, 350 miles, which at $2 per mile average would be $700 instead of having ford hook it up and diagnose it for $100? It just may be something simple like a $50 sensor that would get you back on the road.
Thanks.. But the tow bill is only $460 and insurance is paying most of it.
However... Being home gives me more ease of mind and friends to help

Also..... Now that my 5th wheel RV is back home I'll need to get it.and I didn't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere if I had to get a loan to fix it

Like I said it just might be something simple like a $50 sensor. A scan is something you will need to do anyway when you get home, otherwise you'll just be throwing parts at it. It just may be a lot cheaper in the long run, considering your tow bill and the expense of your buddy making the 700 mile round trip to pick up your 5th wheel.

I get what you're saying but piece of mind is cheaper than a tow bill when you end up in the hospital with a heart attack from the stress and if it's more than a $50 sensor then I would have to be home anyway so get the loan to fix it

Even the dealership I bought the truck from has never heard of this!

Can't say as I blame you for wanting it home to fix it.

Home is more friendly than a hotel room. Plus you know dealership.

Got the truck in the shop back home here 😊 they will let me know tomorrow what they find out.!
Told them about the codes and he said fuel pump notorious for failing. I told him that I thought I might have got some bad fuel and he said highly likely!
So that station I bought fuel at should have to repair it.

Waiting to hear from the shop about what went wrong with my 2011 6.7 litre diesel

Other than this issue I love my truck. It has performed above and beyond what I expected!👍

I would start a claim with the fuel station and with your insurance.
