update

Can anyone tell me if when they're replacing the fuel system and injectors....don't they take the cab off of a 2011 ?
Also let management know that I was a little upset that I had to pay for the parts up front 👍

Shouldn't the parts be between the dealership and ins company?

It doesn't neccessarily have to be water in the fuel. Gas mixed in with the Diesel will reduce the lubrication and can cause the fuel pump to fail. As can DEF. So if the gas station claims not water in fuel. You need to also check for gas in fuel.

Wow call home office and explain what happened. You might get at least satisfaction. If not more.

I finally got them to file the claim Friday but them being an independent agency.
If they had filed it I wouldn't have had to get a loan!!! And then the dealership questions my integrity by wanting payment for parts up front saying special order.

cab off is the normal route. It is not that bad. Ford made it that way so it is easy on/off

Might want to revisit that insurance company when this is over. There are plenty out there.

I try real hard not to buy fuel anything IL because of bio..And I really don't like the pilot on either side of the state because they too sell bio (I70).
