Update on The Mule. Just went to pick up my truck and seats

The carpet ( it darker in person mocha color)

The head liner

Seats installed

Border patrol really liked the seats, stoped at ace for some bolts and washers and a guy on a king ranch sd thought they were legit kr seats , then i got stoped by a cop just to get complamented on my seats, than a mile away from home some guy offer to buy my seats but of course I said nah. One of a kind amigo, so far im a happy with how fast the process is going with the whole truck. Tomorrow im going camping to Elephant Butte in Truth Or Consequences New Mexico. I will post pics on the towing forum bumper pull section, its going to be pic heavy

I know it's not part of the build ill throw in some pics.of my trip
At the lake

I almost gost stuck thanks to my 2wd truck and massive lenght and mass

And some pic of the almost empty lake

This was my first time towing with all my new upgrades mentioned obove and my god felt like a new truck, before all my mods i was running AB injectors with canned tunes no intercooler or the t500, towing the same setup, my egt went all the way to 1500 ° on the canned 50hp tune and my truck downshifted all the time, now i can hold it on OD on the same hill going 75mph how can i not love the new mods
My egts were at 1180 and stayed there on a steep grade maybe 6% grade maybe half a mile on my 60hp towing tune. Custome tunes, stage 1 rosewood injectors, t500 from joey, (maybe not a mod but) rebuild turbo, and last but not least 6.0 intercooler and 6.0 fan.

Also forgot to mention that i went from 4.10lsd to 3.55lsd (way before any mods were planned and still was a company fleet veichle)The 3.55 and these mods i have, are real happy working together i dont think im changing anything i love how it feels towing with the combo. Tire size are 285/75 r16 e Toyo open country MT love the grip they have.

Stay tuned for next week as i plan to get a quote on my new paint job.

They are for when your stock, but with my mods it keeps my truck in the sweet spot, my trailer fully loaded weights in at 8,500lbs, and the truck had two 25gal barrels of water, don't know exact weight combine but truck felt like it was riding solo, I had all the power I wanted, and then some.

Good to hear man. I have the same mods you have, for the most part. I'll be doing my first tow tomorrow. I am anxious to see how it does. Those two barrels added an extra 400 pounds. One gallon of water weighs 8 lbs, so 8 x 50 = 400....for you math geeks...LOL

Your going to be happy with the mods man, poop you not before my truck felt like crap, and thought my engine was getting tired (800k ) but after the injectors and tw tunes my truck felt like a tunned 6.slow. have a safe towing experience with your new mods
