I set the pinion angle and welded the spring perches permanently then finished painting the differential. I installed it back in today and connected the brake hoses, lines and installed the shocks. I still need to get my emergency brake cables and a new box which will be some time this winter also.
I spread filler over the worked over areas the other day and now have it all blocked out and will post later again today. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. Need to get the shop prepared so I can get the epoxy primer and High build on them.
All sanded and ready for next step of primer but need to prepare shop before spraying. It's a little harder now the the weather has turned to winter mode.
Not really a lot to report Pat, I do have epoxy primer on the hood and fenders. The fenders are all prepped and ready for some bed liner to be sprayed to the underside which will likely take place this weekend.
I applied the epoxy yesterday and will likely let it sit for a day before scuffing it up and will apply the bed liner to it and the fenders Saturday or Sunday. After that is all done I will be applying the high build primer. I'm making a shopping list of parts I'll be ordering in the new year. Things are going kind of slow right now, might just be the winter blues...lol
What type of bedliner are you planning on using? I used the Duplicoat Kit that has the kevlar in it this summer and was really impressed. It was waterbased and took awhile to cure out but it finished nice!
I'm using EZbedliner, it's a product of Dominion Sure Seal. It's the same product I used on my panel and have had no problems so far with it. Goes on good with a Shutz gun.
