The straps used to support the tank were the top straps for the Bronco so needed to make the brackets which I welded to the back of the tank support plate.
Shouldn't have to at this height. I don't think the box and fenders will weight much more than 350 lbs, with that much loaded onto the frame there isn't a lot of movement.
Finished up this cross member today, it goes back in under the transmission and is now removable and doesn't hang down as low as the original one did. It is now the same level as the front cross member.
Just a couple of these, right now I'm working on relocating the end link mounts for the front sway bar on the panel, I'm getting tire rub and ruined a set of tires
Perfect height to rest my arm. Cleaned up the seat base today and painted it, no picture just yet.
John, I hope your luck changes soon! I hate buying things twice!
Did you make the bottom part out of 1/2"MDF?
Your center console is what I need in my '52 since my Lokar emergency brake lever is on the floor between the seats. I wanted to hide it and hadn't really looked at how I was going to have a console and be able to easily get to it. One like yours will fix that, and make sure that I keep it cleaned out so it all doesn't spill out when I use the EB.
