I've got stuff I could be doing to the truck, but my shop was a wreck and I had been planning on rearranging things anyway. I guess right in the middle of a project like this wasn't the most opportune time to do it, but I couldn't take it any more! LOL!

Mine needed it BAD too LOL! I've almost got it all cleaned up and should be back working on the truck in the evenings this week. I hope to get the trans back in by the weekend because I'm having surgery on two hernias on Monday the 28th, so I'd say I won't be lugging on a trans for a few weeks after that.

Two hernias? Good god man. Ugh. I may have to go have back surgery again, I'm pretty sure i have another herniated disc. I haven't done anything to speak of since wednesday but rest/ice. I did have to buck up and get through a family reunioin friday night. I've been putting off going to the doctor, but may have to pretty soon. I should have already though, that way if I did need surgery I could have gotten laid up when you are and dreamed about working on my truck right along with you! Got a lot to do this week, its gonna kinda suck.

Its so much nicer working on a truck in a clean shop. Last winter we had to stop every now and then to find tools and the work bench. You and Darin take care of your selves. I dont like going to the doctor for any thing. Make Tyler handle your light work when your down.

Double hernia? I went through a single hernia surgery about 9 years ago. It was the one time in my life I took a narcotic to deal with the pain (prescribed of course). You don't realize how much you use those core muscles until it hurts like all hell to use them!! Take it slow and heal up Bill. If you don't have your health, nothing else matters!!

Yikes! Take care guys.

And make sure you dont overwork yourselves after! the consequences of re-injuring can be way worse than just waiting a couple weeks to get that project done.
My friends dad never learns. He had surgery for his hernia and continued to go back to work before he was supposed to.
Tore it...twice.

Thanks Byron and Alex. I can't afford to miss any more work than I have to. The good thing is, I can go to work after the surgery and sit on my butt I think I can even get one of those little scooters to ride around the shop on! There is one there from when our purchasing agent dropped a piece of steel on his foot and broke it. They bought that scooter for him to ride, and he milked that deal for all it had! LOL! He rode that thing around for 6 months!.........I'm going for 7 on it

Back to the build though.....I think I have decided to go with Tony Wildman for my tunes. Travis has always spoke very highly of him, his tunes, and his customer service. I read a lot of reviews and talked to Travis about it, and have decided that's who I want.
My IC piping material should be here tomorrow, and I ordered the IH water pump last night. I am picking up the lower rad hose and filter for that tomorrow. I have the v-band flanges for the up pipes so I can section those, but I may have to redo the pass side pipe to get the v-band flanges in it. I'd like to get the trans back in by the weekend, so I won't have to deal with it after surgery. I haven't even worked on the truck for a week and I am getting anxious to get back at it and start making some progress again.

I just hear with Tony's family situation his turn around time has been slow.
Other than that I've never read anything bad about his tunes.
