Thanks, I just wish it didn't have title issues.... All I need to do is a tune up and finish the headlight panel and its ready for the road..... Granted the title crap

I'm always looking for a mid 70's Lincoln Continental or Mercury Marquis to park and make a project out of it in the near future. Fuel is only going up in price. Soon I'll need a super fuel efficient car to use a commuter. What else to use but a 20ft long 5000lbs car?

I'd drop a diesel in it though.... Try and get at least 35mpg out of it.

Yeah, it's not as nice a hauler as yours FORDF250, but it does get the job done

Thanks, we sure did get lots of people looking while we were setting up at the show.

Ah the memories of a bed full of dirt. About 20 years ago we had to fill in the backyard for a above ground pool to be level. I used my 84 F250 and few friends went digging. about 15 to 20 loads(forgotten due to age...) later we were done.

5500 lbs of dirt...... you had!! I know I over loaded Ole Blue Mule for sure! But she did the work and never complained. Too bad in the "dark ages" we had no camera like now days to take photos.

Well not its time to load up the 49 Cub again. This time more photos to come on how we load it.

Ironic "loaded" picture.... Two F150 bucket seats in an Audi A4....

Footnote - Removing a seat from an Audi triggers the AirBag idiot light, which can only be re-set by a VW/Audi-specific scan tool.

A little more on topic - a half yard of Q.P. crushed stone, which made me realize why a F150 is only rated at a half-ton (I'm about 30% overloaded here)

(yes.she's as wide as a stock pickup bed is long.)

inner is 8x8x3 averaged out for approx 192 cubic feet.that's 1.5 cord of wood she can hold if you packed her full as tight as you could get 'er.
that wood wet or dry. to those who think this is a dumb question i ask you if you've ever hauled wood cause the wet stuff can be 2 to 3x as heavy as the dry stuff
