Here is my Through the Windshield contribution. I picked up my 54 F-100 at my brother-in-laws place in Wellsboro, PA. He got it running good after it not running for me just over 2 years. I drove it to a shop in Jersey Shore, PA near my place to get it inspected, a total of 45 miles. It was great to drive it again,, especially on a beautiful day through north central PA.

We stopped at the PA Grand Canyon just outside of Wellsboro... beautiful!

going up a mountain on the way home.

Going down the other side.

Speedo says 65 but my wife in our car behind me said the fastest I went was 55-60.

You can see the leaves are starting to turn on the mountain tops in North Central PA.

Great shots Abe. Looks like a really nice drive.

What was the final culprit on your truck? I'm glad its finally sorted out and you can enjoy it once again.

I will start a thread tomorrow detailing what was done to the truck, but bottom line was the distributor was worn out. Got a good one from Dennis (pintoplumbing).

The wife and I took Blue for a couple day jaunt over into western NC and she got a few pictures through the windshield. The pictures were taken along the Cherohala Skyway and Tellico River. The leaves are just starting to change at elevation.

Abe, your truck looks exactly like the 53 I had in college (only much better), brings back (mostly) good memories!

Nice country Ray, looks like Truckstock potential there!

Here is a picture of my truck on its way home from my brother-in-law's place after he got it running well. It is Through the Windshield of my wife's car. I like it. I rarely see my truck on the road from the rear.
