Hey Neville,
Your truck looks great! The old pink one back there - not so much. That one looks pretty beat up. Did you find any parts at the swap meet?
I can never remember what season it is down there in Australia - looks like summer.
Keep posting pics! Train your buddy!

Thanks for your compliments on the truck fellas, no Ben no luck with parts, I was hoping for a set of original pipes for one of my earlyish 750 Honda fours, or at least pipe 1, or a seat for my 1971? Kawasaki 3 cylinder 500, but no luck. I should have spent some time showing my mate what to do with the camera phone, but he seemed confident. Oh well.

Yes just started the third month of spring, although usually we get about 2-4 weeks of spring then straight into summer.

In this same spot will be ice two feet thick (or more) by next February if we have a typical winter. You'll be able to drive across the lake..
Don't know that I could handle your winters, we get a cool/ cold period here in Queensland, but probably only 2-4 weeks of really cold (for us).
Pineconeford, you need to change your signature now that you are driving that sweet looking truck around after bringing it back from the dead.
So, I install a couple of springs on Sunday and decided to fire the truck up. I hadn't started it for a month or so when I was going to take it for a spin on a nice day. It was running smooth so I had to just sit behind the wheel for a minute or two. If it wasn't for the fact that I have to let the air out of the tires to get it out of the garage, I would have bundled up and driven around for a bit.
So, here is my latest "through the windshield". I can't wait for the next nice weekend, when I'm not busy doing something else. One of these days I will actually have a windshield.
Oh Hell Joe!! Just put on an ATV helmet with a
face shield to catch the bugs and weather. Than
take your damn ride. Fly me down and I'll go with.
Yeah, I'm gonna have to do that. Next free weekend above freezing I will get her out.
I would love to have you down and take you for a ride. As soon as I find that winning lottery ticket you will have your airline ticket in the mail.
I tried to start the truck today since I hadn't started it for about two weeks. It didn't start and then the battery died. So I put the charger on the battery and went out and ran some errands. I came back and tried to start the truck again. It was 10 degrees at 4:00. It started so I just had to take it out to charge the battery since the genny wouldn't charge it at idle speed.
I drove north out of town about two miles towards the small town of Renovo and this is what I saw:
I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place, even in winter.
Hope you have a place to wash the salt off, it would be a shame to see it start eating away your truck. I admit I am getting ready to drive mine but will have to wait until all this crap is gone.
Looked to be a cold dry day with no salt spray to be found. I'm sure Abe's truck, like most of ours, gets washed routinely.
Good to see you on the road Abe. I agree, most of Pennsylvania is very scenic - in all kinds of weather.
