Great pictures. I wanted to put one in my wallpaper rotation, but I had to use two.
Thanks Joe,
I am sure there is a lot of nice color around your part of MO. It has been several years since I was last through California and many years ago we went to a motorcycle rally outside of Columbia in the fall and one of the rides took us through California with a stop at Burger's Smokehouse for a tour of their facility. Some really good ham and bacon as I remember it. It was a great ride.
Yeah, Burger's Smokehouse has some great stuff. Any time your are around the area look me up. Especially if you are in that beautiful truck.
I just got back from a meeting and docked my laptop. One of your pictures popped up and I blurted out. "Wow, that's a beautiful picture."
Those pictures are so nice, Alan, I think I want to change my 'puter wallpaper. Which is saying a lot, really, because at the moment Megan Fox is on there.
Hmmm!

Thanks for the compliments on the photos everyone. Now if someone had a photo of Megan Fox with an Effie truck that would make good 'puter wallpaper'
Here is my only submission ... Not in a Effie but it should work.. Pic taken out of the windshield of my 51 Ford Deluxe Tudor sedan...still running original flathead V8 ...Following my friend Ken in his Hudson I can't remember the year 48-49 I think ... We were cruising to Golden Colorado, for the golden super cruise and car show 99 miles each way pic was taken on Hwy 105 between Palmer Lake and Sedalia Colorado

I have waited so long to be able to add to this thread. It's taken me six and a half years to be able to drive her around town. It's not the greatest pick, but I know you guys will appreciate the effort it took to get it.
Mike
Got in a nice Fall drive, up to visit my son in Los Alamos. I can either take the interstate or go thru the mountains -- with some very steep climbs -- so of course I took the mountain route. Just about peak colors!
