Alright I just spend $282.80 on a set of Hooker headers and 2 Summit mufflers 
That took quite a chunk out of my tax return but I am that much closer to having a proper exhaust system now.

Meh, oh well it is what it is. At least I got the parts ordered and it didn't take all my savings. Heck I could get the headers on and retrofit the flex pipe back on till I get the money saved to do the whole thing. I wonder how that would sound...

Have you checked into having a custom Y/X pipe made? I would just nab a magnaflow cat from advance or the like, only about $60 and dont have to worry about rust or quality. I really wanted true duals on the Zebra but it was too cramped to really run pipes properly.

A magnaflow cat? What for? There was an exhaust shop I spoke to that Matt turned me to and the owner said he has done a few Broncos of different years and should be able to do a dual setup. I though about an X pipe but that would add onto the overall cost. A Y pipe would do the same along with making it a single.
